Born under the open skies of Khulna, Bangladesh, on January 1, 1970, I grew up seeing the world not just as it is — but as a living, breathing masterpiece.
The clouds, endlessly reshaping the heavens. The red crabs, dancing their art across golden sands. The ants, marching with a silent, powerful purpose. The trees, their roots whispering ancient stories only a few could hear.
From an early age, my mother taught me to look beyond the obvious — to listen, to feel, and to find the hidden songs of life. Through her, I found Jesus’ quiet presence, the soulful bond of companionship, and the endless music of the natural world.
Before crossing oceans to Sydney in 2005, my hands had already explored many creative worlds — photography, craftwork, graphic design, set design for television, and art direction in Bangladesh. I also had the rare honour of assisting the legendary sculptor Ferdousy Priyabhashini for nearly two decades. Her fearless spirit and deep love for raw nature shaped my soul.
Today, as an artist, I do not seek to mold or dominate nature. I barely carve. I only touch. I let nature lead — for it is the true creator. I am simply a humble collector of its wonders, carrying forward the timeless lessons whispered to me by my mother, the trees, and the winds.
